Authenticated entry access via faulty permission inheritance
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Improper access control in Devolutions Server 2022.3.13.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access restricted entries. Permission inheritance evaluates a specific combination of an entry's permissions and its parent's permissions incorrectly, granting a compromised low-privileged account access that policy should deny. Exploitation requires control of a low-privileged account and can expose or alter protected vault data.
