Unwanted bookings via unvalidated AJAX nonce
Published Oct 31, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in EventPrime before 3.2.0 allows remote attackers to create unwanted bookings through logged-in users. The ep_save_event_booking AJAX action accepts booking data when ep_save_event_booking_nonce is invalid, then persists the forged booking. An event with a ticket type must exist, and a logged-in user must submit the attacker-controlled form; the resulting change is limited to booking creation.
