Bandwidth exhaustion via uncoalesced inventory resynchronization
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Uncontrolled resource consumption in PMMP PocketMine-MP before 4.18.0-ALPHA2 allows remote attackers to exhaust server bandwidth. The inventory handler immediately resynchronizes every open inventory for each mismatch-type InventoryTransactionPacket instead of coalescing requests until the tick ends. A connected Bedrock client can repeat small requests to induce megabytes of serialized inventory traffic and degrade service availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
