Stack-based buffer overflow in Explorer++ 1.3.5.531 allows local users to execute arbitrary code via a long filename argument. The executable accepts more than 396 argument characters without enforcing the stack-buffer boundary, overwriting the main thread's SEH chain and handler records. Exploitation requires local access and active interaction to launch the Windows executable with the crafted argument; successful control-flow corruption runs code in the process context.
