CVE-2023-54328Public exploit

Local application crash via oversized registration input

Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026

Classic buffer overflow in AimOne Video Converter 2.04 Build 103 allows local users to crash the application through its registration form. The registration workflow processes a 7,000-byte string without an effective input-length bound, overrunning a destination buffer and terminating the process. The trigger requires local interaction with the registration workflow; published evidence demonstrates only a repeatable process crash, not code execution or system-wide denial of service.
