BPF sample interruption via oversized comparison

An out-of-bounds read in the tcp_basertt BPF sample in Linux allows local users to interrupt the sample through IPv6 socket activity. Its BPF_SOCK_OPS_BASE_RTT handler asks __builtin_memcmp to compare sizeof(nv)+1 bytes against the three-byte nv string, reading one byte past that stack object. Reachability requires the optional sample to be built and attached to a cgroup; the normal kernel networking path does not invoke it by default.
