Data exposure or service interruption via length underflow

Integer underflow in the av7110 media driver in Linux allows local users to expose data or interrupt service via crafted transport-stream data. write_ts_to_decoder() subtracts the user-controlled buf[4] byte and fixed header lengths from len without ensuring that the result remains nonnegative before passing it to av7110_ipack_instant_repack(). Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and an AV7110-based DVB card; the maintainer states that harmful behavior from the negative length remains unconfirmed.
