System crash via premature Btrfs extent mapping

Denial of service in Linux kernel 5.12 through 6.5.3 allows attackers to panic the host through Btrfs block-group relocation. In fs/btrfs/relocation.c, relocate_one_page marks an extent mapped before btrfs_read_folio initializes subpage metadata, so a later dirty-page operation violates PagePrivate state and triggers a kernel BUG. The path requires an affected Btrfs filesystem, a non-uptodate page, and block-group relocation; the demonstrated consequence is a host crash rather than data access or code execution.
