Kernel memory corruption via negative buffer index

Out-of-bounds write in the USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode handler in Linux 4.19 through 6.3.3 allows local users to corrupt kernel memory. When get_current_pin_assignments returns zero, pin_assignment_show leaves len at zero and writes a newline to buf[len - 1], before the output buffer. Triggering the defect requires a local read of the pin_assignment sysfs attribute while the attached partner offers no compatible assignment; the demonstrated result is a KASAN-detected kernel memory fault.
