CVE-2023-5414Network attack vector

Administrator file disclosure via log-path traversal

Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Directory traversal in Icegram Express 5.6.23 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The show_es_logs function uses an attacker-controlled log-file path without confining resolution to the plugin's log directory, allowing traversal outside that directory. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and successful traversal exposes readable server files, including data belonging to other sites on shared hosts.
