CVE-2023-54101

Use-after-free via unsafe hash iteration

Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025

Use-after-free in the Xilinx event manager in Linux allows attackers to cause an unspecified impact via unspecified vectors. The event-removal path in drivers/soc/xilinx/xlnx_event_manager.c frees eve_data inside hash_for_each_possible(), whose next iteration dereferences that freed entry. Reachability requires the Xilinx event-manager code and an event-removal operation; the Linux CNA has not published an attacker-controlled trigger or concrete consequence.
