CVE-2023-54082

Rejected CVE assignment

Published Dec 24, 2025 · Updated Dec 24, 2025

Linux Kernel was initially linked to a local af_unix use-after-free race in unix_stream_sendpage(), but the CNA rejected this CVE. The withdrawn description said the function accessed the peer receive queue without locking while garbage collection could unlink and release the same socket buffer. The rejection supplies no replacement identifier or specific explanation, so the withdrawn assignment must not be treated as a confirmed vulnerability.
