Kernel memory leak during irdma module removal

Memory leak in the irdma driver in the Linux kernel allows local users to leave PBLE memory allocated through module removal. The iw_hmc_obj_types table omits IRDMA_HMC_IW_PBLE, so irdma_del_hmc_objects() fails to release dynamically allocated PBLE and segment-descriptor memory during function deinitialization. Reachability requires module removal after PBLE scale-up allocations; the consequence is unreclaimed kernel memory until reboot, without reported data disclosure or modification.
