Heap-based buffer overflow in Honeywell Experion Server allows remote attackers to execute code or crash the server via a malformed message. The server's message-handling code processes malformed input in a way that overwrites a pointer outside the intended heap buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exploitation has high complexity and can compromise data or interrupt service.
