Authenticated remote code execution via exiftran path injection
Published Dec 22, 2025 · Updated Dec 22, 2025
OS command injection in PhotoShow 3.0 allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to execute arbitrary commands. The administration settings endpoint accepts an unvalidated exiftran_path value, which video-upload processing executes as part of an external-tool command. Administrative credentials and a crafted video upload are required; successful exploitation grants command execution on the server.
