Administrative actions via unchecked cross-origin POST requests
Published Dec 22, 2025 · Updated Dec 22, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in SOUND4 BIG VOICE 2 1.30, BIG VOICE 4 1.2, and WM2 1.11 allows attackers to perform administrative actions. The appliance web interface accepts a cross-origin POST to cgi-bin/logoremove.cgi without validating the request's origin or an anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to visit attacker-controlled web content; the demonstrated consequence is removal of the appliance logo.
