Stack-based buffer overflow in Honeywell Experion Server 510.1 through 520.2 TCU4 allows remote attackers to execute code via malformed messages. The server places a message-supplied hostname into an internal table without adequate bounds checking, overflowing a stack buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, but attack complexity is high; exploitation can crash the server or execute code in its process context.
