Email-address enumeration via distinguishable reset responses
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Username enumeration in GLPI 9.5.7 allows remote attackers to validate registered email addresses through the lost-password endpoint. The endpoint returns distinguishable response text after a CSRF-protected email submission, revealing whether the address belongs to an account. No authentication is required; each valid-address probe triggers a password-reset email and provides an account identity for follow-on attacks.
