Stored script execution via unescaped folder name
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in TinyWebGallery 2.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted folder name. The i_frames/i_titel.php editor accepts encoded script markup in the twg_foldername field and stores it for later rendering on gallery pages without effective output neutralization. Album-editing access is required, and execution occurs when another user opens the affected gallery, exposing that user's browser session to script-controlled reads and actions.
