Browser script execution via unencoded parameters
Published Dec 18, 2025 · Updated Dec 18, 2025
Stored XSS in iwind RockMongo 1.1.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. index.php renders unencoded database, collection, format, username, and new-collection name inputs, allowing HTML or script payloads to enter responses and stored names. A RockMongo session is required, and execution occurs when a victim loads the affected interface; reported impact is browser-context data access or modification, not server code execution.
