CVE-2023-5392Network attack vector

Remote memory disclosure via analysis feature over-read

Published Apr 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Information disclosure in Honeywell Experion PKS C300 Controller allows remote attackers to read excess controller memory over the network. The controller's analysis feature returns more memory than the requested operation requires, exposing adjacent memory contents in its network response. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to disclosure of controller memory.
