Stored script execution via unencoded episode titles
Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025
Stored XSS in Podcast Generator 3.2.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript when an administrator views a crafted episode title. The episodes_upload.php handler accepts an HTML event-handler payload in the title field, and episodes_list.php renders the stored title without output encoding. Access to the episode-upload administration interface is required; successful exploitation runs script in the viewing administrator’s browser context.
