CVE-2023-53906Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Stored XSS via unsanitized public custom JavaScript

Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025

Stored cross-site scripting in ProjectSend r1605 allows remote authenticated administrators to execute JavaScript in other users' browsers. The custom-assets-add.php endpoint stores the submitted content field as a public head asset, and public pages emit that saved JavaScript without neutralization. Exploitation requires an administrator session and a subsequent page visit; the persistent script can read or alter data available in the visitor's browser context.
