Clear-text credential exposure via config serialization
Published Dec 18, 2023 · Updated Nov 20, 2025
Information disclosure in Infinispan allows remote authenticated users to obtain cache-store credentials via configuration serialization. The cache configuration serializer emits JDBC connection-pool and remote-store credentials in clear text when producing XML, JSON, or YAML. Access requires authenticated control of cache configuration, and the consequence is credential disclosure that can enable follow-on access to the configured stores.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
