Arbitrary post deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Funnelforms Free 3.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary WordPress posts. The fnsf_delete_posts function fails to validate an anti-CSRF nonce before accepting a forged deletion request for attacker-chosen posts. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow a crafted link or perform an equivalent action while the WordPress session is active.
