Kernel crash via freed UBI resize table

Use-after-free in the UBI subsystem in Linux before 6.3 allows local users to crash the kernel through repeated volume resizing. ubi_resize_volume stores new_eba_tbl in vol->eba_tbl, then frees that table when a later volume-table update fails, leaving a dangling pointer that ubi_eba_copy_table reads on the next resize. The path requires local low-privilege access with permission to issue UBI volume-resize ioctls; triggering it can produce a kernel fault and service interruption.
