Display interruption via miscalculated FCLK watermark

Integer underflow in the AMD display driver in affected Linux kernels allows local privileged users to interrupt display service. The DCN 3.2 watermark calculation uses dummy UCLK p-state latency for the FCLK transition when UCLK p-state changes are unsupported, producing an undersized FCLK watermark. Exploitation requires high local privileges and affected AMD display hardware; the published impact is limited to availability.
