CVE-2023-53776Public exploit

Authentication bypass via IP-bound session reuse

Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025

Session fixation in DB Elettronica SFT DAB firmware 1.9.3 allows remote attackers to manage transmitters without authentication. The device management API treats a client IP address shared through NAT as authorization for an existing session, so unauthenticated requests inherit that session. Reachability requires network adjacency, a NAT address shared with an authenticated user, and an established session; the published exploit resets the transmitter's board configuration.
