CVE-2023-53775Public exploit

Password changes via IP-bound session reuse

Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025

Session fixation in SFT DAB firmware 1.9.3 allows adjacent-network attackers to change user passwords through the userManager API. The interface binds a Session ID to a client IP address, then accepts an unauthenticated changeUserPswd request when another host reuses that address. An established victim session and the same NAT-visible IP address are required; successful exploitation replaces a chosen account password and permits transmitter management as that account.
