Guest data disclosure and tampering via shared buffers

Information disclosure and message tampering in the Linux kernel allow attackers to compromise SEV-SNP guests through a hostile hypervisor. The sev-guest code performs encryption and decryption directly in host-writable shared memory, allowing input or output to change during cryptographic processing. Exploitation requires control of the guest's hypervisor and can expose secrets, replay or modify authenticated replies, corrupt memory, or crash the guest.
