External-site redirection via unchecked project-switch target
Published Oct 4, 2023 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Open redirect in mosparo before 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to send users to an attacker-controlled site through a crafted link. ProjectController::switch passes the targetPath query value directly to the redirect response without checking that the URL belongs to the local host. A user must follow the crafted link and complete the authenticated project-switch request, after which the browser navigates to the external site.
