Kernel memory leak via unreleased PCI resources

Memory leak in Linux PCI host-bridge resource coalescing allows local users to consume kernel memory through repeated resource releases. In drivers/pci/probe.c, coalescing calls release_resource(), which detaches the resource but does not free its allocation or resource-list entry. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and a PCI host-bridge path that performs coalescing; the bounded effect is unreclaimed kernel memory and resulting availability loss.
