Service interruption via ring-buffer resize race

Denial of service in affected Linux kernel versions allows local users to trigger a kernel oops through concurrent tracing changes. During ring_buffer_resize, ring_buffer_swap_cpu can replace a per-CPU buffer after update work is queued, so completion state is read from a different buffer and later page updates dereference invalid state. Exploitation requires local access to tracing controls and winning a timing race between buffer resizing and tracer changes; the demonstrated consequence is a kernel oops and service interruption.
