Information disclosure in FreeBSD 12.4-RELEASE before p6 and 13.2-RELEASE before p4 allows local users to read disk data. The msdosfs deextend path enlarges a partially used final cluster without clearing its invalid pages and residual buffer tail, exposing unallocated device contents instead of zero bytes. Exploitation requires write access to a mounted msdosfs file system; disclosed bytes can include data from previously deleted files.
