CVE-2023-5359Network attack vector

Google account disclosure via hard-coded OAuth secrets

Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Sensitive information exposure in BoldGrid W3 Total Cache 2.7.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain Google OAuth API secrets. PageSpeed_Api.php embeds the shared Google OAuth client ID and client secret as plaintext constants in publicly downloadable plugin source. No authentication or WordPress-site access is required; the credentials enable plugin impersonation and access to linked Google account information, not the WordPress site.
