Stored script execution via incomplete HTML cleaning
Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in SalesAgility SuiteCRM before 7.14.1 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. The SugarBean::cleanBean path stored HTML, text, and enum fields after a single clean-and-encode pass; entity decoding could restore active markup that was not cleaned again. Exploitation requires low-privilege access to save a crafted field and user interaction to render it, enabling script execution in the viewer's SuiteCRM origin.
