Authenticated SQL injection via unquoted relationship identifier
Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024
SQL injection in SuiteCRM before 7.14.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through a crafted Opportunity save request. The Opportunities save path passes duplicate_parent_id into clone_relationship, which interpolates it into a SELECT statement without database quoting. A valid SuiteCRM session and permission to save an Opportunity are required; the demonstrated time-delay query establishes arbitrary SQL execution.
