Local kernel crash via nonlinear VLAN header

Improper packet handling in affected Linux kernel releases allows local users to crash the kernel via a crafted VLAN packet. The VLAN protocol helpers inspect non-linear packet data without ensuring the MAC header is present in skb->head, leaving skb_mac_gso_segment to pull unavailable header bytes. Reaching the fault requires low-privileged local packet-socket access, and the demonstrated consequence is a kernel BUG that interrupts the host.
