Local kernel crash via unattached bridge logging

NULL pointer dereference in the MediaTek DisplayPort driver in affected Linux releases allows local users to crash the kernel. The mtk_dp_aux_transfer() and mtk_dp_aux_do_transfer() error paths pass the unattached DRM bridge device to logging helpers, which dereference its NULL device pointer. An AUX-transfer error before bridge attachment is required, and the resulting kernel panic interrupts the host without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
