Kernel-memory disclosure via unchecked receive length

Out-of-bounds read in the Linux LAN78xx USB Ethernet driver allows local users to disclose kernel memory through a malformed receive descriptor. lan78xx_rx trusts a descriptor packet length beyond the actual socket-buffer length, clones the overlong frame, and passes it up the network stack. Reachability requires the LAN78xx receive path to process an oversized descriptor; the bounded consequence is disclosure of adjacent kernel memory.
