Service interruption via leaked ACL references

Resource leak in the Linux kernel allows local users to interrupt service through ksmbd SMB2 open operations after allocation failure. In smb2_open(), the ACL conversion allocation-failure path returns without calling posix_acl_release(), leaving an ACL reference unreleased. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and a memory allocation failure; public sources do not establish that users can force the failure.
