Server crash via cross-scope LEFT JOIN references

Denial of service in MariaDB Server 10.10 through 10.11.11 and 11.0 through 11.4.5 allows remote authenticated users to crash the server. The optimizer mishandles an IN subquery containing a LEFT JOIN when its ON expression references only the join's inner side and a scope outside the subquery. High database privileges and network access are required; a successful query terminates the server process and interrupts service.
