Restricted desktop escape in Siemens HiMed Cockpit 11.5.1 through 11.6.1 allows local users to access the underlying operating system. Siemens identifies the locus as Kiosk Mode but has not disclosed the alternate path or the protection check it bypasses. Physical or local console access without authentication is sufficient on affected 12 pro, 14 pro+, 18 pro, and 18 pro+ terminals.
