CVE-2023-52945

Local code execution via uncontrolled DLL search path

Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026

Uncontrolled DLL search in Synology BeeDrive for desktop before 1.3.2-13814 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The OpenSSL DLL component resolves a library through an attacker-controllable search-path element, but Synology has not disclosed the path or triggering operation. A low-privileged local account is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in the BeeDrive process context.
