System crash via failed Display Core initialization

NULL pointer dereference in Linux 6.5 through 6.6.1 allows local users with high privileges to crash the kernel during AMD Display Core initialization. In amdgpu_dm_init, failure logging passes adev->dm.dc->ctx->dce_version to dce_version_to_string after Display Core creation leaves adev->dm.dc null. Exploitation requires high local privileges and a failed Display Core initialization; the documented consequence is an availability loss without data disclosure or modification.
