Kernel memory corruption via unchecked firmware phy_id

Out-of-bounds write in Linux kernel 6.3 through 6.5.12 and 6.6.0 through 6.6.2 allows attackers to corrupt memory via ath12k firmware. ath12k_wmi_ext_hal_reg_caps() uses the phy_id from a WMI SERVICE_READY_EXT event to index soc->hal_reg_cap without first checking it against MAX_RADIOS. Reachability requires ath12k hardware and attacker-controlled device firmware during device start or recovery; the write can crash the kernel or alter adjacent driver state.
