Database access via unneutralized id input
Published Sep 29, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in my_students.php in Engineers Online Portal 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database records via id input. The script places attacker-controlled id data into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax before execution. A valid low-privilege portal session is required; successful queries can expose or alter records accessible to the application account.
