Database query manipulation via unneutralized id parameter
Published Sep 29, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
SQL injection in Engineers Online Portal 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through the id parameter. The downloadable_student.php handler passes the request's id value into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. A low-privileged portal account is sufficient, and a crafted request can expose or modify database records.
