System crash via SPI suspend race

Race condition in the Linux kernel SPI core 6.0 through 6.1.65 and 6.2 through 6.6.2 allows local users to crash the system on resume. During a synchronous noqueue transfer, spi_controller_resume() clears ctlr->cur_msg before spi_finalize_current_message() dereferences it. Exploitation requires a transfer to remain active across system suspend and resume; the resulting NULL dereference interrupts availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
