CVE-2023-52718

Information leakage or service interruption via TCP hijacking

Published Dec 28, 2024 · Updated Dec 28, 2024

Connection hijacking in affected Huawei home routers allows remote authenticated users on the same LAN to disclose data or interrupt service. The firmware permits a crafted TCP flow using the victim connection's sequence and acknowledgment numbers to take over that connection. Exploitation requires victim-device and network information plus high privileges; the reported consequences are information leakage or device denial of service.
